Mindfulness seems everywhere these days, but how is it done and what is the point?

Through mindfulness we learn how to bring about lasting change by working directly with our own mind and emotions. This practice is known to improve well-being and attention, reduce stress, anxiety and depression, and help us overcome many of the difficulties we experience.

Learning mindfulness can transform your life.

This 8-week program will help you to develop your own personal practice. Beginning with the basic technique, the program will lead you to more advanced stages of practice as your experience unfolds.

Along with guidance on how to develop your own practice, the program will discuss how mindfulness works to bring about beneficial change. Each week you will be provided with written material to help guide and support you, including detailed practical instructions.

To get the most out of the program, you will be asked to engage in regular home practice in order to move toward an experiential understanding of mindfulness that would otherwise remain out of reach.

The program takes a relaxed and casual approach, encouraging discussion of your experiences along the way.

Mindfulness cannot be learnt in one day or one week.

The 8-week program is designed to show you how this practice can take you beyond what you might have thought possible. Starting with simple exercises, each week will build upon the previous one, leading you towards a deeper understanding of this practice.

Cost: The entire 8-week course including weekly handout material is $420.00.

In order for you to get the most out of mindfulness training, we limit our group sizes for each course. By offering mindfulness in a small group setting, we ensure that you receive guidance tailored to your needs and circumstances. It also means that we can fully discuss your developing practice by exploring your experiences along the way.

About Ben

The program has been developed by Ben and is the distillation of his 25 years of training and practice in mindfulness and meditation techniques. Ben has a PhD in the neuroscience of mindfulness and has experience with both contemporary Western psychological approaches and traditional Buddhist techniques.
